self love

it’s easy

to hide behind insecurities,

to use self-judgement

as a tool

for guarding the parts of ourselves

that we are afraid of.

it’s easy to say:

‘I don’t have a perfectly symmetrical face so therefore I’m not beautiful and have to pose inauthentically every time a camera is facing me.’

I’ve learned

it’s much harder,

and legitimately sometimes terrifying,

to say,

I AM BEAUTIFUL.

to deeply feel and accept,

in

my

bones

that I AM BEAUTIFUL.

that EVERYTHING is beautiful

because everything is sacred.

the things we judge ourselves the most for are precisely the aspects of ourselves that hold the most wisdom and the most divine power.

so here is me.

not trying to hide...

here is me,

just

BEING

me.
